Being so much older than Cindy, I didn't know her well, the way so many of her contemporaries did, but I did know of her sweetness (even as a child), her intelligence, her compassion and deep concern for others. I knew well of her unseflish nature, her love of family and friends and her love for God. When one member of our family hurts and suffers, we all suffer. We all loved Cindy and we will always miss her presence here with us. But, we know that as our family here on earth grows smaller, we also know that our family, along with all of those we invite into our family along the way, will someday be in Heaven where there will be no tears or sadness.
