| Cindy, what a good friend. She was my neighbor in Bath for a few years. I have so many memories of her that I really don't know where to begin. I have known her for years, and thanks to Jennifer Arnold, got to be good friends with her. The three of us had all kinds of adventures together. Sneaking out in the middle of the night, parties, talking for hours about guys. I never could understand how someone could be so smart. She did not have to study and she still got "A'S", when I had to study for three hours for a "B". She knew everything about anything. I always would say to my mom, "Cindy is so smart." Cindy could always make me laugh. She came to my son's four year birthday party. We went outside for a cigarette and she discovered a dead mouse in the yard. We (Jenny, Cindy, Steph) then went back into the house and laughed at the goofy clown I hired for the party. She was picked to be the timekeeper for a game they were playing. That was in April of 2001, but it feels like yesterday. I was sad to see her leave that day. The past few years I did not see her as much due to work, husband, kids, and college and I regret that. I would do anything to hear her laugh again!!! My son Justin who is nine, remembers her playing with him, particulary the "Bunny Rabbit Game." She hopped around on the floor with him. God, please take care of her and one day we will see her again in heaven. I love you Cindy, and will miss you deeply!!!! Stephanie Ritchie 9/29/2001 |
Whenever she'd talk on the phone to her friends about Tracey, I'd always say "are you talking to me?" When she didn't answer, I'd realize it was her best friend Tracey she'd been talking about not me, Traci her co worker. Cindy, sweet Cindy, drove her replacement Becca crazy for months after she left. "The piles of papers", Becca would say, "How did she know what was what?" I'd tell Becca that she just did, she just did. CIndy is smiling her big beautiful smile on all of us now, picking through her piles of papers one by one. Time is what she has now. And our prayers.
